At Seresa Safaris Ltd, we are proud to be a locally owned company with strong ties to the communities in which we operate. We believe that tourism should create meaningful benefits for local people while helping to preserve cultural heritage and improve livelihoods.

One of the ways we support the Maasai community is by organizing authentic cultural visits to Maasai villages. For every guest who participates, we ensure that a visitation fee of USD 30–50 is paid directly to the community, providing a valuable source of income and supporting local development initiatives.

We are also committed to expanding educational opportunities for young people. Our goal is to sponsor students pursuing secondary and tertiary education, helping them achieve their academic and career aspirations.

In addition, we aim to train and mentor more professional safari guides in partnership with the Kenya Utalii College, Kenya’s leading government-owned hospitality and tourism training institution. By investing in skills development, we hope to create employment opportunities and strengthen the tourism sector.

Whenever our own fleet is fully booked, we prioritize working with Maasai-owned transport and logistics providers, ensuring that tourism revenues benefit local entrepreneurs and businesses.

As we finalize the registration of the Seresa Safaris Foundation, we plan to launch several community-focused programs, including providing school uniforms, sanitary pads, and other essential supplies to pupils in primary and day secondary schools.

We also support local artisans by promoting and helping them sell their handmade products through our platform, creating additional income opportunities and helping preserve traditional craftsmanship.

Through these initiatives, Seresa Safaris remains committed to responsible tourism that positively impacts communities while offering our guests authentic and meaningful travel experiences.
